We cover areas from Yamba to South West Rocks and inland, and have been providing clients with the finest quality in catering and service for the past 20 years. Along with our liquor licence, we give you the complete wedding solution. Spare Chef Catering’s team of culinary professionals pride themselves on blending the finest of ingredients, and creating a superb visual presentation of food for you and your guests. We are constantly searching for new ideas and offer stylish and comprehensive menus, which comprise of modern Australian with Asian and Mediterranean influences. You can create the perfect wedding without having to lift a finger, and make a great impression on your guests. From elegant cocktails and canapés, to a fully catered dinner, wedding catering or an awesome backyard or beach BBQ, we will prepare your chosen menu and deliver it to you, or send our professional staff to serve. Location is not an issue, as we are a fully mobile catering service. As an alternative, we offer a self-catering option where we provide the food for you to heat and serve.

Absolutely outstanding catering service. !! From the very beginning of planning our daughter's wedding. Nothing was too much trouble. The Food was amazing !! The Chef and team were fantastic! The wedding was at our home at Upper Orara and the first time they had been on location. Everything went so smoothly and simple. But no doubt they all worked non-stop behind the scenes. Our sincere thanks to Spare Chef and their team of professional staff who made the day a dream come true!
The service of the wait and bar staff was impeccable. Friendly and professional, they did the rounds of all of our guests and never forgot the wedding parties (we kept forgetting to eat, haha). The groom and I worked in hospitality for more than 10 years and we noticed the cleanliness and organisation of each member of staff on this team. Not a glass was left sitting, rubbish was whisked away quickly, boxes of stock were stacked out of sight. I can't recommend this company highly enough. Book them.
I cannot express just how beautiful everything was – both on the wedding day and the BBQ the following day. The Chef and all the staff were absolutely fantastic, especially given how patient they were with the never ending wind!!! All of your staff went above and beyond on both days to ensure that we had an amazing time and outstanding food. All of our guests are still raving about the food!! It really was unbelievable and so yummy. Thanks again for everything you did for us. You all really did make our wedding amazing.
