The day for Shavarn started off surrounded by her girl gang, sipping bubbly and being pampered while overlooking the spectacular views of Yamba from a Talooca apartment high up on the hill. The bridal party took full advantage of the mobile hair service that Tash Elise Bridal Hair offers and enjoyed getting their hair done by Tash in the comfort of their own accommodation on top of the hill.
Shavarn and Jacob tied the knot in front of just over 100 of their nearest and dearest on a perfect Autumn day. Their chosen ceremony location was the iconic Pilot Hill overlooking Main Beach. The couple chose the highly bubbly and energetic local celebrant Married by Meg to officiate their love for one another.
After all the formalities were done and dusted the bridal party headed to Convent Beach and Pippi Beach with their videography and photographer from White Leaf to capture the bridal party photos. With a cloudless sky and a low tide (which is something to consider when getting beach photos) the couple and their besties took a stroll along the beach to photograph some truly captivating images.
With a few drinks under their belts, the bridal party then made their way to the Yamba Golf and Country Club to join the rest of the guests. The couple chose to go with a cocktail-style reception where there their guests were served canapes throughout the night. The dance floor was certainly alive this night as you can see in the video and it's needless to say it was a good time had by all during the night of celebrations.
As the night came to a close majority of their guests caught the courtesy bus service home that the Golf Club offers. This eliminated the need to hire a coach for the night to get guests home safely. The newly wedded couple spent the night in the breathtaking "On the Rocks" accommodation that overlooks Convent Beach.
